Capitanes de la Bahia (LDC) signed experienced 35-year old shooting guard Victor Liz (193cm-110kg). Liz just played at Parque Hostos in La Vega League in Dominican Republic. He missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Liz represented Dominican Republic at the World Cup in China three years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 5 games: 13.0ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.0apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 40.6%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 81.8%.

He is quite experienced player. Liz has played also professionally in Argentina (Obras), Mexico (Mineros), Puerto Rico (Gallitos, Leones, Atleticos and Cariduros), Uruguay, Venezuela (Guaiqueries and Gaiteros), Dominican Republic (San Carlos, La Mattica, La Villa, Pueblo Nuevo and Batey Tres) and Nicaragua (Real Esteli).

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Puerto Rican BSN championship title in 2021. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic Santiago League Domestic Player of the Year in 2021.

Liz is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Capitanes.
